Keep the client current and collect the right evidence when a feature fails

Many fixed issues persist on older installations. Check the version first, then record a short reproducible path and a credential-safe error before opening a ticket.

01

Check and install the latest version

Open App Settings → Updates and choose Check. Download the update, open the installer and quit when prompted. Use only the official download or update channel.

  • Restart the installed application after updating.
  • Confirm the new version number in the client.
02

Retry one controlled action

After updating, repeat only the failing action once. Record the account remark, feature, exact time and full error text, but remove cookies, passwords, stream keys and tokens.

  • A screenshot should show the feature and error, not credentials.
  • Mention whether a proxy or TUN mode changes the result.
03

Send an actionable support request

In the user center, open a ticket with operating system, client version, steps, expected result and actual error. Attach redacted screenshots when they help reproduce the issue.

  • Do not paste secret values into tickets.
  • Keep the client open only if support asks for a live retry.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Start here for common questions about purchasing, access and system requirements.

Will updating delete my accounts and settings?

A normal in-place update is designed to keep local application data, but important operational data should still be backed up before major system changes.

What is the most useful information for a timeout problem?

Provide the exact time, client version, action, complete error message and whether direct, system proxy, global proxy or TUN changes the result.
