Run one controlled viewer-side test
Use the current LIVE and a separate, permitted viewer account. Send one harmless test comment with an identifiable phrase, then watch the creator-side chat and a second viewer view. For an automatic reply, use one known matching phrase and one nonmatching phrase so you can see whether the rule fired only when expected.
- Record the room, sender account, approximate time and visible result.
- Allow for a brief display delay, then refresh once; avoid repeated test posts that can look like spam.
Check the reply rule before blaming delivery
In TKLive, confirm the right applied LIVE account, enabled group and rule, Contains versus Exact matching, and cooldown. Confirm the intended sender: an optional support account if configured, or the applied account when support is empty. A support account that was configured but became unavailable needs repair or removal; it is not the same as leaving the field empty.
- Test with a simple exact phrase to remove keyword ambiguity.
- Check the sender’s current login and comment capability in that LIVE.
If a send is reported, check TikTok comment controls
TikTok’s official guidance says comments may be unavailable or hidden when LIVE comments are off, keywords are filtered, or a viewer is muted or blocked. Compare what the host, the sender and an independent viewer can see in the same room. Inspect current chat settings and platform notices without trying to bypass moderation.
- Use a neutral test message that does not match configured blocked words.
- Do not promise that a local success status means TikTok displayed the message to every viewer.
Keep a useful failure record and intervene manually
If the reply remains absent, note whether the trigger was received, the rule matched, the sender attempted a post, and each viewer saw it. Save sanitized diagnostics and the exact time, without passwords, cookies or private customer comments. Pause an unreliable automatic rule and let a human moderator answer important questions while the issue is investigated.
- Change one setting at a time and repeat the same viewer-side test.
- Keep answers about prices, stock or policy under human review when facts can change.

Frequently asked questions
Start here for common questions about purchasing, access and system requirements.
Does a “sent” status in the client prove the reply was visible?
No. Check the current TikTok LIVE from a viewer account and confirm the message actually appears there. Platform filtering and account state can affect the result.
Why can the host see a comment that another viewer cannot?
Visibility may differ because of LIVE comment settings, blocked words, mute or block state, and display timing. Compare the same room on two viewer sessions and follow TikTok’s current notices.
