Confirm account, room and credentials
Verify the target account, its current LIVE access, the intended room and the current server URL and key. Make sure the values are entered in the OBS instance assigned to that account.
- Keep credentials out of shared screenshots.
- Confirm the title and account before starting.
Preview scene, audio and media from start to finish
Check framing at phone size, read every important text element, listen to microphone and media, and inspect the beginning and ending of each file used in the scene.
- Prepare a fallback scene for missing or finished media.
- Remove private notifications and expired claims from view.
Check capacity, monitoring and stop ownership
Measure upload and encoder status with the real scene. Assign who watches the audience-side result and who can stop each output if the account, content or connection becomes uncertain.
- Start with one instance and add the next after verification.
- End each output explicitly and confirm session state.

How long should a TikTok LIVE preflight take?
A practiced check can be short, but it should cover account, credentials, scene, audio, network, viewer monitoring and stopping.
Is the OBS preview enough?
No. It does not prove the platform receives the intended account, video and audio; check the viewer-side result.
